We enjoyed learning about Diwali and how friends in our class have celebrated. We heard and retold the story of Rama and Sita and had lots of fun designing mehndi and rangoli patterns. We also made our own salt dough so we could make our own Diya lamps just like the ones that lit the path home for Rama and Stia.

On Rememberance Day we took part in a two minute silence to remember all the fallen soldiers. We had made our own poppies to hold and had been learning all about their meaning.

We enjoy visiting the forest with our year 6 buddies. We work collaboratively to solve problem and create in the natural world.
