Hope

Our children have been thinking about how they have shown hope and thanks while they have been at home or working in small groups in school. We have filled our 'Rainbow of Hope and Thanks' with messages, prayers, poems and pictures reflecting our thoughts and feelings during the lockdown. Children working at home have sent their work to school or delivered it by hand waving at us through the window. It has been lovely to watch our rainbow grow just like our hope in God. 

THE PERSEVERANCE PRAYER

Dear Lord,
When I feel worried about facing a new challenge
 Help me to persevere.
 When the going gets tough
 Help me to persevere.
 When I feel like giving up
 Help me to persevere.
 Amen

We want peace, prosperity and justice and we can have it when all the people of God, the Rainbow people of God, work together

Dear God
We thank you that you always promise us a new start and a hopeful future.

New Year Prayer

Dear Lord
Bless our homes and our school this year so that in them there may be health and friendship, kindness and goodness, love and forgiveness, through Jesus Christ, our King, we pray. Amen
