We hope everyone has a lovely Christmas break, we re-open on Monday 6th January 2025.

Subject Vision Geography

Our vision for Geography at St George's

‘Let all that you do be done in Love’ 1 Corinthians 16:14

The example of Jesus Christ and the Good News that he brings inspire St George's school to be a place of hope and a caring and inclusive community in which we all love to learn and learn to love.

Geography develops children’s knowledge and understanding of places around the world and the people who live there. Through an enquiry-based curriculum, children at St George’s will explore local and global links making geography relevant and purposeful to their personal lives. They will develop a sense of curiosity through practical activities both inside and outside the classroom. Their learning will be linked to the whole school Challenge Question and to quality texts where possible.
