In year 2 we have been thinking about the people we trust and why we trust them we have wrote the names of these people on hands. We have also said what it means to be a trustful person and then wrote a poem to explain what trust means to us.

Maths

As part of our maths learning in Year 2 we have been looking at money and the values of each coin. We have also added up amounts of money up to £1 and started to work out how much change we have left when we spend a certain amount.

Science

In Science this half term we have started to look at different materials and their properties, We then sorted them into different groups based of these properties. 

Art

We have been enjoying our art lessons with our new art teacher Miss Webster who has started teaching us about Bangladeshi artist "Zainul Abedin" We have started to create an information page about him and drew some of his patterns. 

Our trip to the Library

We had an amazing day visting Hyde Library, We listened to stories, searched for books and learnt how to use the self service machine.
