Supporting the British Red Cross

As part of our value of compassion and learning about how the British Red Cross support others all over the world we decided to bake some cookies to sell and the money we raise would go to their charity. The cookies were very popular and we sold out very quickly so we know that wer will have to bake them again. Thank you to everyone for their support.  

100 Tallies Treat!

We enjoyed watching Up as part of achieving our 100 tallies just before Christmas. We were able to bring in a blanket or a teddy and we enjoyed munching on popcorn too. We are well on our way to our next 100 tallies.

TRIP TO CHESTER DEVA MUSEUM

We have had a great day at the Chester Deva Roman Experience. It was interesting to hear and see all our learning so far and to learn more about what life was like during Roman Britain. After our tour of the museum we went into the city of Chester and chanted our hearts out in Latin as if we were a Roman soldier carrying a shield and sword. We quickly got into formations and worked together as a team.
We had lots of fun and showed everyone how fantastic we are. 😊

SCIENCE

We have been learning about states of matter and the properties of materials. We carried out an exciting experiment with foam burst shower gel and made careful observations and used the correct vocabulary to describe what we could see happening.
