This term we have begun our Helicopter Story journey, developing our imagination skills to create our own stories!

This term our PE lessons have consisted of learning Basketball, where each week we have been developing our bouncing and throwing skills.

Some of our PE lessons have also consisted of developing our gross motor skills - running, star jumping, and bear walking!

As the sun begins to shine, we have been having lots of fun exploring our Forest School!

Week beginning 27th January - Chinese New Year.

This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is commonly known as the 'Spring Festival', to represent the celebrations we have been creating our very own Chinese Lantans.

Week beginning 3rd February - Superheros.

Our theme for this week has been Superheros! We have been designing our own superhero masks and turning into our very own Superhero.

Week beginning 24th February - The Gingerbread Man. 

This week our learning has consisted of reading the The Gingerbread Man book and completing a story map!

It's Pancake Day!

Today we had a go at making our own pancakes. As a sepeical treat we even had a little taste, they were so yummy!

It's World Book Day!

To celebrate our love for reading, we had lots of fun by getting dressed up.

Week Beginning 9th March - Seaside Week.

This weeks theme has consisted of sun, fun and lots of sandcastles!

Week Beginning 24th March - Our Easter Journey.

As Easter is fast approaching, we have really enjoyed learning about the Easter Story!

To showcase our reflections, we created different pieces of Art inspired by paintings from the Ethiopian artist Nebiyu Assefa.
