Reading

Please make sure your child brings their reading book every day and remember to read at home as much as you can – at least 15 to 20 minutes daily.

Just this amount of reading a day really can make a massive difference to their progress!

Times tables and spellings

Please continue to help your child practise their times tables at home. In Year 6, all children should know both the multiplication and division facts for all times tables, up to and including the 12's.

We will send home a list of spellings to be learnt each week, ready for a mini test the following week!

Home Learning

Home Learning is given each Friday and should be returned the following Wednesday. This will be sent home in pink homework books and will include spellings and times tables as well as another fun activity!
