We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework in Reception, and we develop our skills through a play-based curriculum. We encourage the children to express their interests and fascinations, and support them in their learning through these - ensuring the children love to learn and learn to love.

Reception Reminders
Please remember to bring book bags into school everyday - we try to read with the children as often as we can. Please support your child with their journey to becoming confident and fluent readers by reading with them as often as you can at home, and encouraging them to look at books at home.
Every child has been gifted a PE bag, PE t-shirt and PE shorts. These will stay in school for the children to use when we do PE, which is on Mondays.
We love to visit the library for story time and do this regularly in school. Our day to visit is Tuesday.
